About us
We are a research group at the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning (IARRP), Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS). We are interested in understanding how environmental factors such as mineral nutrition, abiotic stress, and heavy metal, affect plant stem cell development and agronomic traits. We use the combination of cutting-edge approaches, including genetics, genomics, genome-editing, molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology, to address the fundamental questions. Our studies can be translated into crop yield improvement and more sustainable agriculture.
